When will I know what team my child is on?
Not until the registration period has closed.
Spring Ball
After registration has closed, all players except for 4/5 T-Ball will go through evaluations. After which, all leagues except for 4/5 T-Ball will hold a draft. All players will be drafted to a team. After the draft has concluded, your head coach will contact you.
Fall Ball
Right after registration, players will be placed on a team. Head coaches will receive a roster at a coaches meeting, after which, your head coach will contact you.
I'm not sure my child is ready for the league they are going in. Can they stay in the same league?
Unfortunately, players must play in the league their age puts them in.
Can I request my child be on a certain team or with certain players?
Spring Season
No. All players except 4/5 T-Ball are drafted.
Fall Season
Yes. We do our best to accommodate all requests within reason.
What does my registration fee cover?
Your registration fee covers your child's jersey and hat.
In addition, your registration fee allows Westside to operate. It helps cover the costs of umpires, insurance and consumables required to run a ballpark.

What times are practices?
The practice schedule is entirely up to the head coach of your team. You should get the practice schedule from your coach.

This again is up to the head coach of your team. Practices typically last for 1-2 hours.
My child is 5. What is the difference between 4/5 T-Ball and 5/6 T-Ball? Which should I choose?
When you child is 5, you have to option of playing in 4/5 T-Ball or 5/6 T-Ball.
When making your decision, keep these things in mind...
- 4/5 T-Ball is purely our developmental league. While all leagues are developmental, this league does not keep score. It is more laid back. This league does not offer All-Stars.
- 5/6 T-Ball is our competitive T-Ball league. Score is kept. Our T-Ball All-Star teams are formed from the league.
You know your child better than we do. When making this decision, hopefully the bullet points above will help.
My child has never played baseball. Should I sign them up?
Absolutely. We have players at all skill levels. We make sure all players are welcomed and have a good experience.
